Who May Join FSN?
Regular Membership is open to Florida physicians whose practice is limited to Neonatal Medicine and who are board certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and who have completed training in an approved neonatal fellowship program within the past four years.
Affiliate Membership is open to physicians in Florida whose practice is limited to Neonatology, who have completed training in an approved Neonatal fellowship program, but have not received board certification within four years of
completion of their program.
Associate Membership is open to Florida physicians who are in fellowship training programs in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and pediatricians with a special interest in Neonatology.
Special Membership may granted in by the Executive Committee upon recommendation of Membership Committee to physicians who are may be based-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine whose practice is not limited to Neonatology (or who no longer actively practice Neonatal Medicine) but who may contribute significantly to the goal of the Florida Society of Neonatologists. Such members may have the privilege and responsibilities of regular membership.
